A one-live cat’s life

More than eight years has passed and I haven’t realised that you have been with me for almost a decade.

Our affair started in Hongkong, and you did not mind carrying with us my mom’s baggage, then off we went to Thailand, then Singapore.

I am glad you never get tired accompanying me to Singapore. Then you did love the spring and summer of Finland and Amsterdam and Germany, I know I am sorry we haven’t seen snow and maybe not with you.

I was also glad you were patient and sticked with me when we were repeatedly living in Malaysia and Indonesia. Funny, we do have same hotel preferences.

You were happy when I told you we are going to Australia. Then to Japan. Yet you were unhappy that I did have to drag you around and we needed to ride the public transpo there. It’s very expensive that’s why.

You might be like me, you do love travelling but sometimes you get tired. So I did saw that manifest with you the day I arrived in Sydney with you on my first day that I have to move homes from Philippines to Australia.

I was in panick, I lost you. I was standing there for 30 minutes and asked the attendant to check if they’ve seen you. after 30 minutes or so, the attendant called me and asked me to identify if they got what i was looking for. At first I did not even recognize that it was you, but you look different. old, tattered and you were carrying my stuff just like you did not care. I thanked the attendant and I needed to take care of you then off we go. I was relieved to have seen you yet made me think you are not happy with me anymore, or you are just tired and you needed some rest.

We still did a few trips in Malaysia then to Singapore but it is obviuos that you are having a hard time. So we are coming back home to Philippines. I think It is proper to leave you here at home and we need to part.

You were very reliable and kept me company whenever i did travel.Thank you, you did well.

I am really sorry that I need to come up with this decision to replace you, but surely you did serve me well for the 8 years. You need to rest. I will surely miss you, goodbye.
